This year, I'm celebrating 16 years as a fitness professional. I provide personal training for people of all ages in my two gyms in Washington, DC, and I coach clients on weight loss. I write a popular fitness and vegan food blog, produced an exercise DVD Hot to the Core, and lead workshops.

Exercising and eating well gives me powerful rewards—for both body and mind. I want to empower others to achieve the same benefits! My current exercise routine consists of weight training, swimming, trail running, hiking, and biking. I've competed in tennis, racquetball, wallyball, running, and triathlons.
I love spending my free time relaxing at my cabin in West Virginia. I've had a vegan diet for 26 years and enjoy cooking healthy, gourmet meals for friends.
